Admissions Requirements 

  • A completed International Admissions Application
  • Original Transcripts from a high school (secondary) and/or college(s) (post-secondary), including any other schools attended in the U.S.  Please send an English translated transcript evaluated by a transcript evaluation service. 
  • Financial verification demonstrating the availability of $29,000 to support a year of study.  This proof must be in the form of an official affidavit of support, bank statement, and/or letter from a bank official.  All documentation must be in English and dated within 3 months.  
  • An original score report from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).  Hartnell College requires a score of 460 or higher on the paper-based test, 140 or higher on the computer-based test, 48 or higher on the internet-based test

 

Students who are currently studying in the United States with an F-1 visa must also submit the following documentation to transfer to Hartnell College:

  • A completed International Admissions Application
  • Copy of your passport ID page, I-94, and F-1 visa
  • Official transcripts from all institutions you have attended in the U.S.
  • You must currently be in good status in SEVIS and have a vaild F-1 visa to transfer to Hartnell College

Students who qualify for admission to Hartnell College will be notified by mail.  An acceptance letter and I-20 will be sent to you with instructions on applying for the F-1 visa at the US Embassy or consulate in your country.  

Students accepted for transfer to Hartnell College must submit an International Student Transfer Notification
